Flecha Cantina is turning one and it’s time to celebrate! 

Flecha Cantina’s original location in Huntington Beach, CA opened June 8, 2024 but the one year celebration has already started. Following the success of the inaugural location, a second location opened in Las Vegas on September 14, 2024. Both restaurants celebrated the milestone birthday on Tuesday night with free street tacos, guest DJs and a photo booth to commemorate the exciting moment. And did we mention Mark Wahlberg is the owner? 

The 702 was on hand for some delicious tacos, chips and salsa, and margaritas on Tuesday night in Las Vegas, because who doesn’t love a good Taco Tuesday fiesta?

Flecha Cantina Has Two Locations: Huntington Beach, CA And Las Vegas, NV

Since first opening the doors, Flecha Cantina has become the must visit spot when in Huntington Beach or Las Vegas. 

The menu is “crafted by renowned international chefs and mixologists,” according to their website, and “blends Mexican classics with a contemporary fire. Each bite is a journey, and each sip is an experience in what it means to be memorable.” 

After visiting the Vegas location multiple times over the past few months, I couldn’t agree more. Everything is delicious! I even spent Thanksgiving there enjoying both traditional Thanksgiving foods and some Mexican delicacies to start a new tasty trend. 

Taco Tuesday, Flecha Cantina Style!

I decided to head over to Flecha Tuesday night to celebrate their big milestone with a margarita in hand and that turned out to be such a delicious idea. I had my 19-year-old son and his friend with me. Me and my son have been to Flecha before but his friend hasn’t. And everyone agreed that there’s nothing negative that can be said about the experience.

When you walk in the door, the hostess hands you a margarita sample (over 21 only, obviously) and I now would like to be greeted that way everywhere I go! Delish!

The chips and salsa are top tier. I could literally drink that salsa, it’s soooo good! We got a few refills because it’s so hard to resist when you’re asked if you want more.

We ordered two quesadillas for the table, one tequila chicken and one carne asada, and believe it or not, we left with two boxes of leftovers. The quesadillas are HUGE and full of flavor. The two plates could have easily fed four to five people.

And I had my favorite at Flecha: a watermelon margarita. I don’t drink often but when I’m at Flecha, that drink is a must!
