Meet Ashton Bray.
She is pure electric energy on the stage at Luxor in “FANTASY.” With her effortless glamour, fierce technique, and magnetic presence, she helps to transform every routine into a show-stopping moment.
Ashton dances with a blend of elegance and fire that commands the room with precision, power, and a confidence that lights up the entire theater. She embodies the essence of Las Vegas entertainment: bold, glamorous, and unforgettable.
Ashton Bray Began Dancing Early In Childhood

Ashton has been dancing her entire life. She said that performing was something that began at a young age.
“I started dancing at 2-and-a-half. As soon as I could walk, I would perform for anyone who would watch,” she told The 702 Vegas exclusively. “I would walk around to people who were waiting for tables at a restaurant and sing and dance for them. It’s what I was born to do.”
She realized that dance was what she wanted to pursue professionally as soon as she found out “people could perform for a living.”
“I knew that’s what I wanted to do,” she said. “I originally wanted to be a pop star and was even in a little pop group that toured local fairs and events.”
She clearly remembers when her dance studio would have summer break, she would visit her grandparents’ lake house and spend her days “stretching, doing my splits, and watching videos of old recitals to learn routines” while the rest of the family would be swimming or out on the boat.
Ashton Has Been Part Of ‘FANTASY’ For Many Years

Ashton, who has called Las Vegas home for 14 years, has been part of “FANTASY” for 13 of those years.
She started out in a Vegas show called “BITE!” at The STRAT, a vampire rock production, which she said “served as the perfect introduction to life as a Vegas performer.”
“I’ll never forget my opening night at ‘FANTASY.’ We learned the show quickly and I practiced a lot, but I misjudged the stairs on the stage and took a little tumble during the opening number,” she shared. “I learned that if you recover quickly and keep smiling, the audience doesn’t mind and might even love you more for it.”
Ashton said the best part about being in the show is “being surrounded by dancers who continue to work on their craft and are incredible performers – it’s truly inspiring.”
Some Insight Into Being A Vegas Showgirl

Just like many other professional dancers in Vegas, Ashton said the dance community is “small and tight-knit” and that everyone supports each other.
When asked what she wishes people knew about being a Vegas showgirl, Ashton explained that they are all “professional dancers who have trained long hours to do what we do.” She also explained that it’s their job to make it look “easy and glamorous” even when it isn’t.
One of the hardest parts about the job is working evenings, because it can feel like you’re waiting all day long to perform.
Hard work has taught Ashton some important lessons.
“Dance has taught me that consistent, hard work is not only rewarding but will also help you achieve your dreams,” she said. “I was never the most talented dancer in class, but my work ethic and passion have gotten me to where I am today.”
Vegas Fun When Not On Stage

Ashton has had the honor of being named to Vegas Inc’s “40 Under 40” and one of Vegas Magazine’s “Dynamic Women” earlier this year. In 2008, she was crowned Miss Black Oklahoma and earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts with a minor in history from Oklahoma City University, where she graduated with high honors.
When Ashton isn’t on stage performing, she enjoys reading, cooking, and hosting.
“I love nature and scuba diving when I can get out of town,” she said. “Even after all these years in Vegas, one of my favorite things to do is visit the Bellagio Conservatory.”
What The Future Holds

In the future, Ashton hopes to continue working with dancers and possibly expand into other outlets.
“I’ve been incredibly fortunate to be mentored by our producer, Anita Mann,” she said. “With the knowledge and guidance I’ve gained from her, I hope to continue my career working with dancers and eventually expand into TV and film.” ‘
