Meet Talia Rose of “FANTASY.”

From discovering dance as a teenager after a chance moment at home to building a career she once never imagined possible, Talia’s journey is rooted in passion, risk, and self-expression. Now part of “FANTASY” for over a year, she reflects on how dance became both her creative outlet and her confidence, a space where she found a true love long before she realized it could become her profession.

Talia Rose Began Her Dance Journey After Watching A Dance-Related TV Show

Talia, who’s called Vegas home for four years now, shared some of her dance journey with The 702 Vegas. She started dancing at the age of 12 and hasn’t stopped since.

“I had been at home watching ‘So You Think You Can Dance,’ and asked my mom if there was any place to dance where we lived,” Talia told The 702 exclusively. “Once I took my first class, it was all over. I left that day wanting to dance forever.”

A specific memory from her early days of dance that sticks in her head is “finally having a way to truly express myself and my emotions.”

“I’ve always been extremely shy and anxious, but not when I’m dancing,” she explained. “Even to this day, it’s my favorite part of dance – having a space I get to be my fullest self.”

Explaining that she grew up in the “middle of nowhere” and really didn’t have much of a clue about what existed in the world of dance, she didn’t think dancing professionally was an option. And even as she got older and started to see professional dancers, she “just never thought in a million years” she would be “good enough to book anything.”

“I just kept auditioning and taking really big risks,” she said. “I have been extremely fortunate with all the opportunities I’ve been given and the fact that I’ve made a career out of it. Now, I couldn’t imagine doing anything else. Little me wouldn’t believe it.”

Talia Rose Has Been Part Of ‘FANTASY’ For Over A Year

Before stepping onto the “FANTASY” stage, Talia honed her craft on the Las Vegas Strip as part of the original cast opening “Rouge” at The STRAT, where she performed for several years. That experience not only sharpened her skills but prepared her for the level of professionalism and presence required to thrive in one of Vegas’ most iconic productions.

What truly sets “FANTASY” apart for her is the sense of care behind the curtain. She describes feeling “genuinely cared for” and supported.

“I feel genuinely cared for, both as a human and as a performer,” she said. “It’s rare in this industry to have an employer who truly cares about your health and well-being, and that makes such a difference.”

While nerves were high ahead of her very first “FANTASY” performance, the excitement quickly took over once she hit the stage. Ever self-motivated and eager to grow, she left the show wanting to be even better next time, while still soaking in the joy and fun that comes with performing night after night.

“I’m hard on myself after shows because I always want to improve, but I also have the best time,” she shared. “It’s so fun!”

Being A Professional Dancer In Sin City

Being a showgirl in Las Vegas is more than just stepping into a costume and the spotlight. It’s a demanding, exhilarating role that blends discipline, confidence, and performance artistry. Behind the glamour is a fast-paced world that pushes performers to rise to the moment, night after night, on one of the world’s most iconic stages.

“I think most people outside the industry don’t know how much work and dedication it takes to be a dancer,” Talia shared. “Most dancers have been training practically every day since they were a kid. You have to be very mentally strong. There is so much rejection, criticism, and misunderstanding in being a showgirl and dancer.”

She said proving yourself on a daily basis is a reality of the job, and if you don’t truly want to be a dancer with everything you have, “it probably isn’t going to happen.”

“It takes so much hard work to make it look effortless,” she added.

Talia Rose Enjoys Vegas On And Off The Stage

When Talia isn’t on the stage giving it her all, she’s either training or enjoying a good book.

“I love taking pole and aerial classes, or fire dancing,” she said. “My favorite things in Vegas are outdoor activities like going to Red Rock or the Springs Preserve, as well as going to other shows.”

She added, “I love the endless live entertainment in this city. It’s a dream.”

As for what she hopes the future holds, Talia shared, “Every day I get to dance on stage is an accomplishment. I hope to do it for as long as I can and soak up every minute of it.”

Throughout Talia’s dance journey, she said one of the biggest lessons has been following her dreams and not settling for a life you don’t love.

“Every day, I think about how fortunate I am to live a life I’ve always dreamed about, but didn’t think was possible,” she said. “Never limit yourself.”

Through The Struggles, Talia Rose Stays Positive And Grateful

Talia also shared some deep insight into her life recently. She said the past few months have been tough and “turned my life upside down.”

“I suddenly became bedridden and couldn’t take care of myself, which was terrifying and confusing, especially as someone who’s always been so active,” she told The 702. “I eventually learned I have an autoimmune disease, and for a while, I was terrified I might lose everything I’ve worked so hard for and love more than anything.”

She added that it’s now “mostly under control” but it’s something she will be living with for the rest of her life.

“It’s a lot and so scary, but it also made me profoundly grateful for every single day I get to dance and do what I love. I’ll never take my health for granted again,” she said. “I’m proud and deeply grateful to be among the few who can continue an athletic career while managing an autoimmune disease. It’s a reminder of how fragile and powerful the body can be and how lucky I am to move, perform, and live my passion every day.”
