Having started her career in a male dominated sport, it was anything but easy, but with her unmatched work ethic she strives in it. Undoubtedly, being one of the best examples of the hard working women in sports, CJ works alongside WNBA and Aces star A’ja Wilson, as they both make history and help to put down the building blocks for the next generation of women in sports.

CJ originally joined the Aces franchise when they first moved to Las Vegas, coming from San Antonio, switching the name from the Silver Stars to the much beloved Aces we know today.

CJ remarked that, “Being apart of introducing a WNBA team to the Las Vegas community and helping grow that fan base from the beginning was incredibly special.” She was and is a key piece for the Aces fan base, helping it to grow to how it is today. Being invested into the Aces, she’s going on her eighth year with the franchise this upcoming season.

From On The Court As Host To The Work Behind-The-Scenes

“It’s been amazing to watch the growth of the Aces and to contribute both in front of the fans and behind the scenes as the organization continues to build and evolve,” CJ said.

With many fans thinking she is just a fun and entertaining host, it is amazing to see what gears she gets moving without the fans even knowing.

Following all this success, people might think she is done reaching for new goals, but she isn’t that type of person. Continuing to strive in her career, looking to help in every way she can, her main focus is creating an “impact.”

“At the end of the day, my biggest goal is simply to make an impact wherever I can,” she said. “I truly want to positively affect people’s lives and use the platform I have to uplift and inspire others.”

Without CJ, not just the Aces, but also the WNBA as a whole, would be missing a huge piece to complete their puzzle. With her amazing work ethic and loving demeaner, fans around the world will never stop supporting her.
