Grand Prix Plaza, the world’s largest Formula 1 attraction, is reopening to the public today, Friday, Jan. 30, bringing fans back to the heart of F1 excitement in Las Vegas.

Located at the home of the FORMULA 1 HEINEKEN LAS VEGAS GRAND PRIX, the 39-acre complex returns with a redesigned F1 DRIVE karting track, an upgraded F1 X exhibition, a refreshed F1 Hub Lounge menu, enhanced event spaces, and new experiences that elevate both racing and entertainment offerings.

Grand Prix Plaza Revs Back Up With Upgraded Karting, Exhibits, And Lounge Experiences

If you visited Grand Prix Plaza last year and loved it, you’re going to want to go again this year. With plenty of great upgrades and changes, it will be like experiencing it for the first time all over again.

F1 X Experience has been reimagined and upgraded. This immersive and interactive experience puts you into the world of F1 with legendary artifacts, hands-on activities, and a 4D experience like no other.

Become an F1 driver and race a kart to really get the feel of Formula One in a memorable way. The F1 DRIVE track has been updated and features a wider layout that’s designed for competitive racing. Drivers pilot high-performance electric karts that are modeled after real F1 cars for an experience that will have you smiling and wanting more.

F1 HUB Is Filled With Race Action

The F1 HUB, Grand Prix Plaza’s central gathering space, features F1 SIMULATORS, F1 HUB Lounge, and the flagship F1 retail store, where you’ll find all the coolest Formula One gear.

Race on advanced simulators for some adrenaline-pumping action, then head over to the lounge to enjoy some food, cocktails, and race content comfortably. Hungry? Try Hot Honey Finocchiona Pizza or the Salted Focaccia Genovese Sandwich, and don’t forget to enjoy a drink with your meal. How about one of the specialty cocktails such as the Lap Leader Lemonade or Overtake Oasis?

Then head into the retail store to check out all the great merch so you can take a piece of your Grand Prix Plaza experience home with you.

During a media preview night, The 702 Vegas got the chance to experience all the F1 upgrades. We visited last year and loved every minute so it was a must to go again to check out all the changes for a fun night out.

Even if you’ve been there before, this is something you’ll absolutely want to enjoy again. And with some great additions and changes, it feels like a whole new experience. All the things you loved about it last year are still there, and the new additions just add to the excitement.

Be sure to take some laps around the track in a kart, try out a simulator, walk through F1 X and take it all in, and stop at the retail store to see what new and awesome merch is available. And as someone who loves a good Vegas view, don’t forget to enjoy the Strip view before heading down the escalator at the end of your visit.
