With the holiday season upon us, Las Vegas transforms into its own winter wonderland of festive things to do and see.

The 702 Vegas has compiled a short list of some holiday fun around the city to help make planning your November and December holiday activities a little easier.

Downtown Summerlin Is Festive With Holiday Activations

Downtown Summerlin is turning into a holiday wonderland during the months of November and December with many different festive things to do and see.

Downtown Summerlin’s Holiday parade, sponsored by InTouch Credit Union, turns the streets into a lively holiday experience with music, snow, dancers, youth performers, and of course, Santa Claus himself. The parade is every Friday and Saturday at 6 p.m. from Nov. 21 through Dec. 20 and is free.

The Santa Chalet, presented by Tri Pointe Homes, located in the Macy’s Promenade, is open daily from Nov. 14 through Dec. 24. New for this season – family holiday photo packages to capture holiday memories without Santa. Returning this year is photos with pets on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4 to 8 p.m. throughout the season. Visits with Santa for children with sensory conditions are available on Saturday, Dec. 6 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. or via reservation at Summerlin.com.

The Rock Rink, presented by Lexus, is open from Nov. 14 through Jan. 19, 2026. Hours vary, and appointments are encouraged.

On Dec. 21 from 4 to 6 p.m., Downtown Summerlin will host a one-night Hanukkah celebration that includes lighting of the Menorah, kids’ activities, entertainment, and hot cocoa. A Menorah will be on display from Dec. 12 through Dec. 22 in the Dining Arroyo.

Glittering Lights At Las Vegas Motor Speedway

The Electric City Light Show begins Nov. 12, 2025, and runs through Jan. 4, 2026, bringing a dazzling, family-friendly drive-through experience that brightens the holidays with heart.

More than just a festive spectacle, the event helps make a difference — with proceeds benefiting Hope for the City, a local nonprofit dedicated to fighting hunger in the Vegas Valley. Blending twinkling lights, holiday cheer, and community spirit, it’s a can’t-miss tradition that shines for a cause.

Get Into The Spirit Of The Holiday Season With A Show

If music is something that helps you get into the holiday spirit, you’re in luck! There are two great holiday residencies taking place in November and December – Leona Lewis at Voltaire and Mariah Carey at Dolby Live.

Grammy-nominated Lewis is bringing holiday cheer and festive tunes to the stage at Voltaire at The Venetian Resort Las Vegas with “A Starry Night” residency. Lewis belts out favorite holiday songs, as well as some of her greatest hits, in a showroom that’s decked out for the holiday season.

Mariah Carey begins her Vegas Christmas residency on Nov. 28 at Dolby Live inside Park MGM. She will be performing Nov. 28 and 29, Dec. 2, 3, 5, 6, 9, 10, 12, 13. Known as the “Queen of Christmas,” she’s declared “It’s time” so get ready to get your holiday on!

Other Festive Happenings Around Las Vegas

Bellagio Conservatory & Botanical Gardens is always a fun experience and the holiday season is no different. The holiday display opens on Nov. 15 and can be visited through Jan. 3, 2026.

Enchant Christmas, at Las Vegas Ballpark at Downtown Summerlin, will include a new, never-seen-before “Night of the Nutcrackers” theme and experience. From Nov. 21 through Dec. 28, larger-than-life sculptures, ice-skating trail, holiday concessions, and new festive features will have everyone feeling the spirit of the season.

Holiday Cactus Garden Lights at Ethel M Chocolates is now open and continues through Jan. 4, 2026. Walk through the cactus garden, capture some great holiday photos, and then treat yourself to some delicious Ethel M Chocolates inside the working factory.

There’s no lack of holiday fun to be found in Las Vegas. This list is just a short list of all the fun that can be found in the city during the holiday season.
