It’s time for an epic celebration in Sin City!
Spiegelworld’s hit circus spectacle Absinthe is celebrating the 15th anniversary of its Las Vegas residency at Caesars Palace on April 8. Originally created with a bold vision and a small tent two decades ago, the show has grown into a signature production for the entertainment company Spiegelworld, founded by Ross Mollison.
To mark the fabulous milestone, Spiegelworld will host a special after-show celebration in Absinthe’s Green Fairy Garden, honoring the production’s lasting impact on Las Vegas entertainment. And to add to the celebration, if you’re a Vegas local, there’s a special treat waiting for you!
Absinthe Began In NYC Before Debuting In Las Vegas

From the early days on a New York City pier to becoming a celebrated Las Vegas phenomenon, Absinthe has evolved into the inaugural and longest-running production for Spiegelworld.
Blending modern spectacle with traditional circus elements, this provocative show serves a bold mix of humor, jaw-dropping feats, and boundary-pushing performances that highlight the talent and artistry of its cast.
Staged year-round with multiple performances every week, the production draws hundreds of guests per show and supports a large team of performers and crew, cementing its reputation as a defining force in contemporary circus entertainment.
Ross Mollison Reflects On The Early Days

Ross Mollison, Spiegelworld’s Impresario Extraordinaire, reminisced about how it all began. According to a press release, Mollison shared, “When I flew into Vegas as just another hopelessly optimistic producer with an idea 15 years ago, I was met by an intimidating roster of competitors and a skeptical casino industry.”
He continued to speak about the “first preview” of “our little spiegeltent filled with friends” he made while working with Cirque du Soleil, and some casino entertainment execs who expected “another terrible show night.”
“When the lights went out at the conclusion of the performance, there was a roar and an instant celebration,” Mollison said. “My friend Jennifer Dunne who was CMO at Wynn came over and said to me ‘WTF Ross – this is going to be a smash.’ Steve Wynn was there a week later to check it out. We had no first preview party planned, so an impromptu one was unleashed at the bar inside the venue. I remember spending what felt like my last $800 on beers for everyone. I do hope the 15th anniversary party only costs me $800.”

To celebrate the amazing milestone, Spiegelworld has announced an offer of $30 off tickets for locals for performances through the end of the year.
