Produced by the Nevada Museum of Art and the Art Production Fund, Seven Magic Mountains opened on May 11, 2016.

Originally intended as a two-year exhibition, its overwhelming popularity has inspired efforts to keep it on display well beyond its initial run, with plans underway to allow visitors to enjoy this desert spectacle for years to come, according to the website.

While there have been talks in the past about moving the installation to a new location, it appears that at this time, those talks are tabled and Vegas will remain its home a bit longer.
